Screen Rant’s exclusive Catwoman: Hunted clip finds Elizabeth Gillies’ titular antihero and Stephanie Beatriz’s Batwoman facing Nosferata. Penned by Gargoyles and Young Justice writer Greg Weisman, the story centers on Selina Kyle as she tries to get her hands on a priceless jewel in possession of some of the world’s most dangerous criminals. When the job goes wrong, Catwoman must work with Batwoman in order to stay out of prison, get back the jewel and keep the criminals from killing her.

Gillies and Beatriz lead the ensemble cast of Catwoman: Hunted alongside Jonathan Banks as Black Mask, Steve Blum as Solomon Grundy, Lauren Cohan as Julia Pennyworth, Keith David as Tobias Whale, Zehra Fazal as Talia al Ghul, Kirby Howell-Baptiste as Barbara Minerva/Cheetah and Kelly Hu as Cheshire. The film marks the latest chapter in the DC Universe Animated Original Movies, which kicked off in 2007 with Superman: Doomsday and most recently saw the releases of Batman: The Long Halloween and Injustice. After multiple years of production, Catwoman: Hunted is gearing up to hit digital platforms and physical shelves in early February.

Outside of teasing the banter between its titular character and Batwoman, the exclusive Catwoman: Hunted clip is interesting in its reveal of Nosferata as a villain in the movie. Created by Karl Kesel and Tom Grummett, the villain made her comic debut in 1998’s Superboy No. 50 and served as a recurring antagonist for the young hero across a handful of storylines. While Catwoman: Hunted features villains from a variety of DC heroes, namely Batman’s Black Mask, Talia al Ghul and Solomon Grundy and Wonder Woman’s Cheetah, the inclusion of Nosferata proves to be a deep pull for the animated film sure to catch comic book fans’ attention.

The exclusive Catwoman: Hunted clip also offers a good look at the movie’s anime-inspired art style bringing its DC Comics to life. Producer Ethan Spaulding previously teased that the film is heavily inspired by Monkey Punch’s beloved Lupin III manga and anime, with the video teasing some of the DC movie’s colorful animation and heist-driven story. The wait for Catwoman: Hunted is nearly over as the new film hits shelves on 4K Ultra-HD, Blu-ray and digital platforms on February 8.
